The Museum of Bath at Work

The Museum provides an insight into two thousand years of Bath’s working heritage – from Roman tourism to 18th century building to Victorian engineering and modern high technology.

Feast your eyes on the reconstructed Bath Stone mine, 19th century soft drinks factory, engineering works, ironmonger’s shop, cabinet maker’s works, 1914 Horstmann car, and an 1851 Bath Chair all displayed in an 18th century Real Tennis Court!

There is also a cafe, shop, temporary exhibitions and children’s play space on site. Free audio guides for visitors are available upon request.

Access Information: Disabled access to main display floor, disabled toilet, disabled parking ( phone prior to visit to reserve a space).
