The Dock Museum

The Dock Museum is a unique building in a stunning coastal setting built within a Victorian Graving Dock. Incorporating two floors, the original Victorian dock provides an impressive backdrop to the galleries. The Museum tells the story of Barrow-in-Furness through displays, ship models, graphics, film shows and interactives.The museum’s facilities include: Fully accessible, Lift to all floors, The Bridge café, Gift Shop, Free parking, Education Service, and Free Guided Tour.

Access Information: Fully wheelchair accessible, large print information sheets available, touch tours available for those with visual impairments (please let venue know if you require this service), disabled toilet & parking, guide dogs welcome.
