Hyde Park Picture House

Established in 1914, the Hyde Park Picture House is a cosy independent cinema situated in LS6, between Leeds city centre and Headingley. It shows a diverse range of international films, from the latest new releases to cult and classic movies, We also have Hyde & Seek family screenings every Saturday and Sunday morning that are Pay What You Can.

The cinema is the only surviving gas lit cinema in the UK (and possibly the world), and can also project 35mm and 16mm film. They recently reopened after a major refurbishment project, with a new second screen and improved access and facilities. All of this heritage, combined with friendly staff and excellent prices, make the Hyde Park Picture one of the best places in Leeds to experience brilliant cinema from around the globe.
