Situated at picturesque Newry Beach, Holyhead, the museum is a fascinating family experience. Take a step back in time at the oldest lifeboat station in Wales. Visitors can learn about shipwrecks, gallant rescues and pirates and find out what it was like to sail on the Irish Sea 100 years ago. Our WW2 Air Raid Shelter houses an interesting collection of WW1 and WW2 memorabilia.
We are an Accredited Museum situated on the Anglesey Coastal Path. We have wheelchair access, a well stocked gift and bookshop, very knowledgeable museum guides and free WiFi.
