Winner of the NFAN UK FARM ATTRACTION OF THE YEAR 2016, Cannon Hall Farm is a family run attraction sitting in the beautiful Pennine foothills. It’s a world of animal magic where over two thousand animals are born every year. Magnificent indoor and outdoor play areas are favourites for our younger visitors and our fabulous, newly refurbished farm shop is bound to keep the grown ups happy too.
Enjoy the excitement of placing a bet on the sheep and ferret racing and learn how milk is produced during our goat and cow milking demonstrations. You’ll find a wide variety of animals from rare breeds of cows, pigs, donkeys, ponies, goats and sheep to more exotic species like llamas, alpacas and even reindeer!
The farmyard offers visitors a unique insight into modern farming. It’s the first farm visitor attraction of its type in the world where every day farming life, including tractor and machinery work carries on as you watch from purpose built viewing platforms above the animals.
Our huge outdoor playground is one of the best in the north of England. There’s adventure everywhere with fantastic slides and towers for the kids to let off steam on. The Hungry Llama, our spectacular indoor play concept is a hive of tunnels, dramatic slides and innovative play features designed to excite and amaze. There’s great food available in our two on site restaurants which use farm produce in many dishes.
