The Bowes Museum

The Bowes Museum offers one of Britain’s most fascinating museum experiences. Go on a wonderful journey and discover the romantic story that led to the creation of this impressive building and amazing collection. The museum has a range of activities for families to make a visit extra special. This includes an adventure play area, woodland walks, picnic areas, bags of fun, Museum Explorer backpacks, interactive resources and orienteering trails. In addition, the Museum holds regular family events in the school holidays.
