The Herschel Museum of Astronomy

The museum is situated in the former home of the astronomer and musician William Herschel and his sister Caroline.

Feature include his workshop, his music room and a charming 18th century garden where Herschel discovered the planet Uranus in 1781.

Access Information: Wheelchair access, virtual tour for those limited to ground floor, audio tours available, braille museum plans, disabled parking, guide dogs welcome.
