Anglia Indoor Karting

10% off standard Arrive & Drive Sunday to Friday

Our professionally-designed racing circuit provides all the challenges of a full size circuit and is checked annually by the National Karting Association. We believe that all individuals should have the opportunity to experience the thrill of karting for themselves. Those with limited mobility, learning difficulties, and other special requirements can enjoy a superb and safe experience at Anglia Indoor Karting, whether that is through driving themselves, or riding with an instructor in our new state-of-the-art 270cc two-seater kart.

Participants who wish to drive ‘solo’ must be physically capable of firmly pushing their feet on the pedals and using their arms for steering, which can initially feel quite heavy. All drivers will go through a comprehensive safety briefing and the instructor will demonstrate and give simple verbal instructions to teach the kart controls which will need to be understood by the drivers. The speed of the karts can be reduced whilst the participants get to grips with the controls.’Access Karting’ sessions will be running every Wednesday mornings from 10am to 12pm, from February 27, which allows flexibility for the instructors to train at each person’s own pace, with no distractions. Large groups may be able to be accommodated outside of this time but, during, the track use will always be exclusive to ‘Access Karting’ groups. Drivers who are not able or keen to drive themselves have the opportunity to experience ‘hot laps’ as a passenger in our instructor-driven two-seater kart too. Participants who wish to experience a ‘hot lap’ ride in our two seater kart as a passenger must be able to sit upright in the rear seat. The instructor will demonstrate and give simple instructions for the passenger to follow if they would like to go faster, slower, or stop. They must be able to use their hands to communicate with the instructor whilst on the track.

Drivers can also participate in standard Arrive & Drive sessions which run throughout the week, but please be aware that weekends and school holidays tend to be very busy. Please contact us to discuss any requirements.
Drivers must be a minimum of eight years old and a minimum height of 127cm. Spectators are also very welcome.
